SUMMARY:Stories I Carry: Writing a Memoir Only I Can Tell
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nYour story matters – don’t let it get lost. \nHave you ever said: \nI’ve got stories\, but I don’t know where to start?\nI don’t write like proper writers?\nIf I don’t write it down\, it will get lost?\nWell you don’t need to be a writer\, you just need a clear way to get your story out of your head and onto the page.  Stories are not meant to fade into nothing. Stories are not meant to disappear into silence. When a story remains only inside you\, it may eventually be lost. This workshop will help you give it a safe home on the page\, so it can be carried forward with honesty\, respect and strength. \n\n\n\nYour story is already you\, I will show you how to put it on the page.\n\n\nYou will work in guided space so you can remember\, capture\, and begin writing a story you carry — in your own words\, at your own pace. Not to “get it perfect”. But to learn how to start\, and how to put something true on the page — something you can keep building on\, if you choose.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat this workshop will give you:\n\n A Clear focus – Find a story that matters most\n A simple story pathway – A step by step method to follow\n Tools you can reuse – Online tools\, activities\, examples and templates\n A structure that works – Choose the best way to tell your story\n Supportive guidance – A safe space to learn and grow\n A plan to keep going – Leave with confidence and a clear next step\nYou will leave with more than inspiration. You will have a clear memoir focus\, practical writing tools and a next step you can continue after the workshop. \n  \n\n\n\nIs this workshop for you?\nThis workshop is for you if: \n you have a memoir or personal story you want to write but do not know where to begin;\n you have memories\, notes or ideas but cannot see how they fit together;\n you worry that you are not a “proper writer”;\n you want practical guidance rather than being told simply to start writing; or\n you are ready to give your story the time and attention it deserves.\n\n\nYou do not need writing experience or a finished idea. You only need a story you are ready to begin exploring. \n\n\n\n\n\nGood to know:\n\n The workshop is “In person”.               Bring a laptop and pen.\n Morning tea is provided.               Beginner friendly\n\n  \n\nExclusive Workshop Bonus\nParticipants who book and attend the workshop will receive a complimentary 30-minute Zoom consultation with Remona Mejak. \nThis private consultation gives you the opportunity to discuss your memoir\, work through a concern and identify your next steps. It must be booked after the workshop and is available exclusively to workshop attendees. \n\n  \nGive your story somewhere to begin\nYou do not need to have the whole memoir worked out before you start. You only need a place to begin\, a clear process to follow and the courage to put the first honest words on the page. Reserve your place and begin writing the memoir only you can tell.      \nYour story does not have to wait.  Book your place today and choose Afterpay at checkout to spread the ticket cost over smaller payments. Afterpay is available to eligible customers\, subject to approval.
